Overview

Wayne County Clerk Cathy M. Garrett is responsible for coordinating and administering all federal, state, county and cross-boundary school district elections conducted within Wayne County. The Elections Division assists the county clerk in the various duties pertaining to the administration of elections. The division also serves as a liaison of the County Clerk to the County Election Commission, County Board of Canvassers and the County Apportionment Commission.

Elections Division Campaign Finance Unit

The Campaign Finance Unit of the Elections Division is responsible for monitoring that all county, local and school board candidates are in compliance with all filing requirements under the Michigan Campaign Finance Act, PA 388 of 1976.
