Commission approves Two-Year Budget for FY 2026–2027 and FY 2027–2028

The Wayne County Commission unanimously approved its two-year budget for Fiscal Years 2026–2027 and 2027–2028 on September 15, 2026. The FY 2026–2027 budget totals $2.176 billion, while the FY 2027–2028 budget totals $2.229 billion. Together, the two-year budget provides approximately $4.4 billion in spending across county operations and services.
