Stay Healthy This Season: Protect Yourself and Your Family from Respiratory Viruses

As cold weather sets in, viruses like Flu, COVID-19, and RSV begin to spread more easily. The good news is, safe and effective vaccines are available to help protect you and your loved ones from getting seriously sick.

The Wayne County Health Department is here to help you stay healthy with the latest information and access to vaccines and prevention.

Why Get Vaccinated

  • Vaccination is the best way to prevent getting seriously sick, including hospitalization and even death from Flu, COVID-19, and RSV.

  • Protect those most at risk — including young children, older adults, pregnant people, and those with chronic health conditions.

  • Less missed school, work, and family time by staying healthy all season long.
