Northville Recreation Area

Park Hours: Open from Dawn to Dusk.
Please note that the restrooms and Porta-Johns in this park are open May – September. Restrooms are located near the small park shelter. Porta Johns will be available near the large park shelter.
The Northville Recreation Area is located in Hines Park along the headwaters of the Rouge River. This wooded area is secluded and offers three distinct activity areas.
The west picnic area offers a small ball diamond, a play structure and large park shelter. This area can hold a group up to 100 people. Beach volleyball courts, a small 25 person park shelter and a large ball diamond are located in the east area.
This area has long been a favorite trailhead since the bike path connects downtown Northville with the Hines Park bike path.
