The Wayne County Treasurer's Office offers various plans to assist distressed taxpayers with paying delinquent taxes.
The Stipulated Payment Agreement (REGSPA) & Distressed Owner/Occupant Extension (DOOE) is available online for eligible taxpayers.
As of July 1, 2026, Interest Reduction Plans (IRSPA) are no longer available because the law authorizing those plans have expired. The Wayne County Treasurer's Office is currently working on a replacement plan for taxpayers while we await the passage of legislation by the Michigan House of Representatives. Details of the replacement will be announced as soon as possible.
