Farmington Hills Man Charged in Non-Fatal Stabbing of Girlfriend

Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Terrance Labrendo Wilson, 39, of Farmington Hills, in connection with the non-fatal stabbing of a 44-year-old woman, of West Bloomfield. The victim is the girlfriend of the defendant.
On September 20, 2025, at approximately 10:59 p.m., Michigan State Troopers were dispatched to northbound M-10 freeway near West Grand Boulevard in Detroit for a reported stabbing. Upon their arrival, officers located the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds to her arms and chest. Medics arrived on the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment.
It is alleged that while the defendant was driving northbound on M-10 freeway, a verbal altercation between Defendant Wilson and the victim escalated, and the defendant produced a pocketknife and stabbed the victim multiple times in the front passenger seat of the vehicle.
Terrance Labrendo Wilson has been charged with Assault with Intent to do Great Bodily Harm, Felonious Assault, and Domestic Violence.*
He was arraigned this morning in 36th District Court before Magistrate Jeffrey Kleparek and received a $20,000 cash/surety bond with a GPS tether and a curfew of 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.. A bond re-determination hearing is scheduled for September 25, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., before Judge William McConico. The Probable Cause Conference is scheduled for October 3, 2025, at 8:30 a.m., and the Preliminary Examination is scheduled for October 10, 2025, at 8:45 a.m., before Judge Shawn Jacque.
