Lightfest Run/Walk

The Lightfest Run/Walk event will take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 7:00 PM at Merriman Hollow Park in Westland.

A Lightfest hat, medal and post-event snacks are guaranteed to the first 1,000 people to register.

The start line is a Merriman Hollow Park in Westland (7651 N. Merriman Road) and the finish line is at Warrendale Park in Dearborn Heights (23302 W. Warren Avenue). Hines Drive will be closed to vehicle traffic during the event.

Please park at the start area and shuttle busses will transport you back to Merriman Hollow Park from the finish line.

No dogs are allowed at the Lightfest Run/Walk due to the bus transportation and large amount of participants.

There is a 2.5 hour time limit for participants for the Lightfest Run/Walk.

Packet pick up will take place on Monday, November 17 at Merriman Hollow Park from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM and on event day from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM. The address for packet pick up is 7651 N. Merriman Road in Westland.
