Defendant Jamarr Hill Sentenced in Death of Eight-Year-Old Son

Today, Defendant Hill was sentenced according to the plea agreement of 18 to 40 years for Second-Degree Murder in the Michigan Department of Corrections, before Judge John Gillis. The Felony Murder and First-Degree Child Abuse charges were dismissed.

Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Javon Timarious Hawk, 21, of Detroit, and Joseph Lavar Houston, 23, of Sterling Heights, in connection with the fatal shooting of Michael Davis, 23, of Hamtramck. The victim was the cousin of the defendants.
