Assessment Data
The Equalization Division annually compiles assessment data for Wayne County municipalities based on values as of December 31st of the prior year, which are finalized at the conclusion of the March Board of Review. These assessment values are retrospective for all communities; please contact local assessment offices for current, live information.
Public Records & Data Requests
Data requests can now be submitted online utilizing the County's Freedom of Information Acts (FOIA) request page via NextRequest - FOIA Request.
Standard data can be provided in fixed-length, comma-delimited ASCII, and CSV formats. Custom exports are available for an additional charge.

Free Online Property & Parcel Lookup
Wayne County now provides a comprehensive Parcel Information Search page. This centralized database contains records for all property parcels within Wayne County and is accessible to the public at no cost.
Through this portal, current and prospective property owners can access the following connected tools and resources:
- Property Tax Estimator: Calculate estimated current and future property taxes based on local millage rates (utilizing taxable values for current owners or SEV for prospective buyers).
- Wayne County Parcel Viewer: a map-based digital tool to view spatial parcel boundaries and local geographical layouts.
- BS&A Online Property Records: Direct access to complete property folders, local assessor data, and building details managed by individual municipalities.
- Wayne County Treasurer: Check current tax status and directly look up or clear delinquent property taxes.
- Register of Deeds: Links to official land records, deeds, and recorded documents for verified legal ownership searches.

- Annual Assessment Data: Master CSV files containing assessment, building, names, and legal descriptions are available under the Annual Assessment Data section, and is provided in aggregate and filtered by municipality.
