Wilcox Lake Binocular Hike

Experience Wilcox Lake’s recent renovations as you get a tour of the shore! Use the naked eye and provided binoculars as we examine the new plant and fish habitats all while keeping a look out for birds. Osprey, bald eagles, and egrets (OH MY!) all serve as potential guests.

Robin Hood’s Sherwood Forest Hike

Join Robin Hood and his “Merriman” as they lead you on a tour of Hines near Merriman Road. During the tour you’ll see their secret base, Sherwood Prairie. This often-overlooked area is a rich prairie with many flowers, birds, butterflies, and other interesting animals. Your guides will be armed with bug nets to save you from missing out on any insect sightings.
