Detroit Woman Charged in Non-Fatal Stabbing at Southland Mall

Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Tiffany Rose Williams, 42, of Detroit, in connection with the non-fatal stabbing of a 19-year-old woman of Taylor.
On November 5, 2025, at approximately 7:19 p.m., Taylor police officers were dispatched to Southland Mall in the 23000 block of Eureka Road for a reported stabbing. Upon their arrival, officers located the defendant exiting the mall and walking towards the parking lot. Defendant Williams was taken into custody at the scene.
It is alleged that the defendant and the victim were engaged in a verbal altercation inside of a shoe store in the mall. It is further alleged that the verbal altercation escalated into a physical altercation, and Defendant Williams produced a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times, non-fatally injuring her. Medics were called to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment.
Tiffany Rose Williams has been charged with Assault with Intent to Murder, Felonious Assault, and Assault with Intent to do Great Bodily Harm.*
She was arraigned on November 7, 2025, and received a $250,000 bond. Her Probable Cause Conference is on November 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., and her Preliminary Examination is on November 24, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., both before Judge Victoria Shackelford in 23rd District Court in Taylor.
