Juvenile Charged in Wayne County School Threat Case

On Saturday, December 18, 2021, Prosecutor Kym Worthy charged one juvenile respondent. The case involved alleged threats of violence against Trillium Academy, in Taylor, Michigan. WCPO has charged 42 cases since the Oxford School shootings.
Juveniles do not receive adult sentences. Upon conviction, the judge will fashion a sentence considering the crime committed, and the rehabilitation of the juvenile offender.
