Sensory Create with Nature

Let your creative juices flow with activities inspired by nature! We will craft and create with items that we find in the park to create works of art. Bring nature into your home with the art you create today.

Park in the main parking area and meet at the trail map west of the restroom. Program fee is $5 per person, all ages welcome. ends June 8, 2026, at 8:00 AM. Registration limited to 20 people.

To register, please call the Wayne County Parks front desk to register (734-261-1990). Note you will need to pay over the phone by credit card or come into the Nankin Mills Interpretive Center (Westland) to pay by cash, credit card (Visa/Mastercard), or check. Hours are between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Saturday, closed Noon-1:00 PM for lunch.

No refunds, if it is canceled by Wayne County Parks, we will add a credit to your account for a future program. Parents/chaperones must accompany children at all times during our programs.

Please be aware that these photos are for promotional purposes to be used on the Wayne County website, in Wayne County Parks brochure and flyers, on social media and in newspapers without compensation. Participants consent to being photographed for such purposes, unless Wayne County Parks staff is notified otherwise.
