Join Robin Hood and his “Merriman” as they lead you on a tour of Hines near Merriman Road. During the tour you’ll see their secret base, Sherwood Prairie. This often-overlooked area is a rich prairie with many flowers, birds, butterflies, and other interesting animals. Your guides will be armed with bug nets to save you from missing out on any insect sightings. Expect a one-mile hike.
The fee is $5.00 per person ($6.00 per person if out of county) and is recommended for ages five and older.
Pre-registration is required by calling (734) 261-1990 or by visiting Nankin Mills Interpretive Center, which is open 9:00 AM-4:00 PM Monday through Saturday (closed Noon-1:00 PM for lunch).
