Lightfest "Lights On" Opening Celebration

Wayne County Executive Warren Evans and the Department of Public Services welcome you and your family to the Wayne County Lightfest LIGHTS ON Holiday Ceremony on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 6:00 PM.

The ceremony will be held at Merriman Hollow Park, which is located at 7651 N. Merriman Road in Westland. There will be musical entertainment, refreshments and fireworks to kick off the 2025 Wayne County Lightfest.

Admission to the Lightfest will be free of charge from 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM for the attendees of the LIGHTS ON Ceremony.
