Participants will hike along the Rouge River floodplain to learn about and enjoy nature and habitat improvements. Highlighted will be the new fish ladder across from the Henry Ford Estate. Expect a 1.5-mile hike with some of the terrain being quite hilly, and trail surface is combined grass and dirt.
Meet at the Waterfall Loop Trailhead parking lot on Michigan Avenue next to the Boardwalk Complex Building (across from the John Dingell Transit Center in Dearborn). The address of the Boardwalk Complex Building is 21400 Michigan Avenue in Dearborn. This program is recommended for ages 10 and older.
