Since Hines Drive is a floodplain, it closes at the first sign of rain to keep everyone safe. Join us for this interactive program to discover what this unique ecosystem means for local nature and for you. Afterward, chat with our naturalist to find the best nearby spots for a hike!

The fee is $5.00 per person ($6 per person if out of county) and is recommended for ages five and older. Siblings younger than five may attend for free, but please do not disrupt the program.

Pre-registration is required by calling (734) 261-1990 or by visiting Nankin Mills Interpretive Center, which is open 9:00 AM-4:00 PM Monday through Saturday (closed Noon-1:00 PM for lunch).

For more information, call (734) 261-1990.
