Residents asked to participate in survey to improve Internet access

Wayne County residents in suburban communities are being asked to participate in a survey designed to determine which communities and neighborhoods lack access to high-speed

Internet service, ultimately improving access throughout the county.

The survey is available for residents of all communities but Detroit, which is conducting its own survey.

The participation deadline is Saturday, Oct. 21.

Participants can take part online by visiting MichiganMoonshot.org/Tri-CountyBroadband.

To request a paper survey, call (313) 625-0029.

The survey takes less than five minutes to complete.

A similar survey is also being conducted in Oakland and Macomb counties and has been completed in other Michigan counties.
